National Institute of Health's Canine Genome Project Participants
We are voluntary donors of DNA, health records, measurements and health updates from our dogs. The Canine Genome Project is working hard to map genetic markers and to find and understand the patterns of genetic information that exist between breeds, within breeds and in healthy and diseased states.

Taja Siberians is a very small, family-owned, hobby kennel with a handful of Siberian Huskies in southeast Michigan. Our dogs' health is always our top priority and all of our Siberians undergo CERF exams to clear their eyes and OFA clearances for Thyroid and Hips at the appropriate ages.
We are extremely active with our dogs and they are a major part of our lives. We show them in AKC, UKC, Canada and Central Europe and we show our dogs year round. Our children have also been active in a local 4H canine group, K9 & Kompany, in 4H conformation, obedience and agility and at the state and local dog shows and fairs.
